The aim of the workshops is to present current research projects in the fields of intercultural communication and intercultural learning in the German-speaking and Eastern European contexts and to exchange experiences. Particular emphasis is placed on the involvement of young researchers.
The conference programs and the abstracts of the individual conference contributions can be found here:
The workshops are specifically designed as “work-in-progress” events. After years of deliberately refraining from publishing study outcomes, selected contributions from the workshop (e.g., as completed parts of larger projects) were published for the first time in 2007 on the EPub platform of WU Vienna.
The contributions to the 9th workshop appeared in the volume “Intercultural Studies on Eastern European Language and Culture,” edited by Prof. Dr. Olga Rösch (Berlin: News@Media 2011).
